Effective date: 28 August 2026 · AJTECH / A.J Academy School Management Platform
By registering a school, creating an account, or using AJTECH / A.J Academy (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms on behalf of your institution. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service provides cloud-based school management tools which may include, depending on your plan: student/staff/parent records; scores and continuous assessment; mid-term and term results; attendance; CBT/exams; timetable; role-based dashboards; audit activity; and subscription billing with plan limits (including student quota and feature gates).
School Admins manage school data, users, and subscription. Staff act under the school’s authority. Students and parents access only what the school permits. You must keep credentials secure and are responsible for activity under your accounts. Strong passwords are required at registration.
The school is the data controller for student, parent, and staff records it enters. AJTECH processes that data to operate the platform. Schools must have authority to upload learner data, keep records accurate, and comply with applicable education and data-protection rules.
We may suspend accounts that breach these rules or threaten system security.
Plans (e.g. Free, Starter, Intermediate, High Class, Ultimate) define features and pricing, including per-student fees where shown. Payment is processed via the configured payment provider (e.g. Paystack). If you pay for a student quota of N, the school may be limited to N students for paid capacity. Free or limited plans may restrict modules (for example, results only). Non-payment may result in restricted or view-only access.
Except where required by law or expressly stated at purchase, subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started.
Scores, grades, and remarks are entered or approved by the school. The Service provides calculation and display tools; the school remains responsible for the correctness of results issued to students or parents.
We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may be improved, added, or changed. Continued use after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
AJTECH software, design, and branding remain the Company’s property. Schools retain rights to their own data. You grant a limited licence to host and process school data solely to operate and improve the Service.
Payments, email delivery, and hosting may be provided by third parties. Their terms and privacy practices apply to those services.
The Service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for indirect or consequential losses (including loss of data or exam opportunities). Academic decisions remain the school’s responsibility. Total liability for claims relating to the Service in any 12-month period is limited to fees paid by that school to us in that period (or a reasonable minimum if none).
We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, security risk, or material breach. You may stop using the Service at any time. Data may be retained for a limited period for legal or backup purposes, then deleted or anonymised as described in the Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, unless mandatory local rules require otherwise.
Support and legal notices: use the support channel provided with your account or the contact details published on the Service.
AJTECH / A.J Academy operates this platform. For personal data entered by a school about learners, parents, and staff, the school is typically the controller; AJTECH acts as a processor. For account, billing, and platform security logs, AJTECH is the controller.
We do not sell student data to third-party advertisers.
Data may be shared with the school’s authorised users; processors (hosting, email, payments) under confidentiality obligations; and authorities where required by law. We do not share one school’s academic records with other schools on the platform.
Active school data is retained while the account is active. After closure or a valid deletion request, data is deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period (typically up to 90 days), unless longer retention is required for legal, tax, or security reasons. Audit logs may be kept for a limited period (e.g. 12–24 months).
We use measures such as password hashing, session controls, CSRF protection, role-based access, school-level separation, and audit logging. No system is 100% secure; schools should use strong passwords and limit admin access.
Children’s data is processed on behalf of schools. Schools must ensure they have the right to provide that data. Parents and students should contact the school first to correct academic records.
Subject to applicable law, individuals may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal data. Academic record changes should go through the school. Platform/account privacy requests may be sent via the support channel. We may verify identity and refer school-controlled data requests to the relevant school.
We use essential cookies/sessions for login and security. Limited analytics may be used to improve the product. Disabling essential cookies may break sign-in.
We may update this Privacy Policy and will post the new version with an updated effective date. Material changes may be notified via the site or email where appropriate.
For privacy questions, use the support or privacy contact published on the Service.
